Melissa (aka Missy) Ryckman is the president of Networking, Advertising and Business Promotion for Trucking Life. She drives for GP Transco, an Illinois based trucking company. She also has certifications in CDL instruction and is the author of ‘Mother Trucker- because it’s never too late!’ (Summer 2021)

She is a proud mother to three grown children and one beautiful granddaughter.

Melissa is a former white collar worker turned truck driver. After 20 years of corporate life, she changed careers midlife and the rest is history. She has been logging miles across the country for three short years but loves documenting and sharing her travels on various social media channels, as well as writing a series of autobiographical fiction books (loosely based on her experiences).

Her first book, “Mother Trucker-because it’s never too late,” was released in July 2021 to rave reviews from readers who have followed her journey from behind the wheel of a semi-truck. She plans for another release – ‘Oh It’s On, Mother Trucker!’ set to release Summer 2022.
