After over 20 years of corporate engagement, Margaret DeBellotte decided to do something off her bucket list. Become an OTR Truck Driver. She went to Tampa Truck Driving school in the Spring of 2020 and transformed herself into what is now known as That Trucking Chic.

Margaret has always been about adventure. Born in Brooklyn, NY but moving either for business, family or an opportunity has allowed her to live in Florida, Missouri, New Mexico and South Carolina. From sales, to training, to financial services, to university, to non profit organization and even working in county jail. Margaret loves a challenge. She finished writing her first book while on the road and now adds published author to her list of accomplishments.

At age 49, she is in the largest demographics of new truckers and she loves it. With cowboy boots and her #ChangeTheWorldT-shirt on, she travels the road smiling every day. “Trucking was a dream I had and I work hard every day to make it come true.”
Working daily from 4 AM to 4 PM driving over the road solo, this lady knows that truck driving is a job that commands respect.
